Who We Are
Western Forge & Flange has been in the business of producing high-quality flanges and custom forgings for over 80 years. We were founded in 1944 in Santa Clara, California, and initially provided components for the Pacific shipyards during World War II. We relocated to Cleveland, Texas, in 2007 to be closer to the critical supply chain and port facilities that help us serve leading petrochemical and energy companies more efficiently.
Since 2019, Western Forge & Flange has been part of the LPW Group, a collection of companies dedicated to providing precisely manufactured products and responsive service to companies in demanding industries. We maintain our aggressive standards through an internal quality management system employing a dedicated quality director, metallurgist, quality assurance technicians, quality control inspectors, non-destructive testing inspectors, and final inspectors.
Our Culture: Unshakeable Commitment and Rigorous Testing
When you join the Western Forge & Flange team, you become part of a group committed to upholding strict standards as we supply flanges and custom forgings to highly regulated, essential industries, including the military, petrochemical, and nuclear sectors. Our team of over 125 people comprises specialists in various engineering, quality, inspection, and production roles.
We collaborate closely with our customers to ensure that every product fulfills its intended role, from standard flanges to custom forged shapes.. By taking a role with us, you become a contributor to this essential work, performing a specialized role in the production, testing, or delivery process. All work takes place in a rigorously safe environment — LPW Group as a whole marked 500,000 hours without an OSHA recordable incident in March 2025.
